No not the Aarn, I had one of those and it didn't quite work for me but loved the concept. I finally remembered the name its the Southernlite packs

Southernlite 60L. Ive got one (down to 3 packs now). Craigc knows nothing. They are light and durable. Ive carried a couple of HQ and back straps a distance no trouble. I would recommend them for the young, fit, and mobile. Not so suitable for the old, unfit and senile. Ask me how I know...

Will post a pic (of the pack).

Later. Here 'tis. Light alloy 2 x strut frame. Nicely padded. Superbly made. Nothing not to like. Just made for a different purpose to the load carrying meat sling packs.

I recently looked at one of those, but l wanted a hood, back pocket and heavier frame added, and by then the muscles in my backside were starting to tighten up

Yes they are, but way more robust. I had an exped like that - very good - but didn't last. The expeds are good though.

I have the SouthernLite 65 litre, but the epic200 lighter weight material, it’s super light, I have thrashed it through scrub including Manuka woody sharp bits, it handled it really well, been on multiple expedition trips, no rips. It’s tough material. I went on a 5 day trip and held all my gear good, meat on the way out. Lightweighting all my other gear helped though. Wouldn’t go back to the traditional 85 litre 3kg packs anymore.

Don’t listen to him. No practical experience. And is bitter because he can’t be like his father.

So I account all you guys here guilty! It happened! I eventually did it! I ordered an Exo K4 3600!
The finance minister and best of all wifes happily gave her ok.

I hope I can bring home some venison at some stage to justify the expense and the new pack will hopefully please my sore back.

Hills are getting steeper every day!

Mine was $300 for shipping, and the same again for customs,
You have 2 Kidney's, sell one to offset the rip off costs.
