    I've already paid for them so the price is locked in at $380.

    With this company - what currency do they submit with invoice.
    You paid 380NZ$ - but if they invoice with Euro and out NZ$ tanks - this could push it over the 400NZ$ on entry into NZ ??
    Its looking good for you thought - $ strengthen with the settling of Jacinda's star dust

    This is the Table NZ Customs use for imports

    http://www.customs.govt.nz/news/util...-Exchange.aspx

    Its logged in advance so you should be able to monitor currency effect on a purchase as long as they send prompt and it arrives inside 10 days (not meaning you CT - others who want to get some in future)
    If however they put NZ$ on invoice accompanying purchased item - then should be good to go without this

    That is what I suspected - freight cost also be in Euro
    You should be ok - just hope the Nats get a clear run home
    $ up 1.3% today
    I just transferred NZ$ for 4000 Euro yesterday - so do not EVER ask me for advice on Currency prediction/track
    A day later would have saved me all fees at the very least :-(

    Ive only ever paid online with my debit card and has always come back in NZ$, easy peasy. The only hassle I could forsee is if you don't get your sizing right. I don't have that problem, have had the same size for Raichle, Hanwag, Meindl and Lowa for the past 20 years. Unfortunately son is same size as well so sometimes a case of first up best dressed

    For anyone interested, my boots arrived today and i'm really happy with them. Although they took 2-3 weeks to arrive once they were back in stock, my total cost including shipping was NZ$380 compared to $699 in local shops here. I always wanted Lowa Tibet's but could never justify $700 but $380 is pretty reasonable I think for boots of that quality.

    Total shipping time frame was 2 weeks from when they came back in stock but only 2 days once arrived in NZ. Guess I got lucky on the exchange rate!
