In need of a reliable and resonanbly priced Gun Safe????

    Hi all
My current gun safe is too small.
I need a bigger one to hold at least 8 rifles/shot guns.
A ammo safe built in would be ideal as well.
Any suggestions are most welcome. I would prefer buying brand new but also open to used ones.
I don't won't the fanciest one on the market. Just a decently priced one.
    Cheers

+1 on try before you buy, some have big looks which get in the way when getting guns out, mind you the standard of most gun safes is crap, I suppose it's why they are so cheap, never understood why people would spend 000s on gun and then complain about the price of a cabinet, it's like buyin a car with no door locks.

I recently bought a safe from www.paintballshop.co.nz and I'm pleased with it.
I spent some time checking out what was locally available to compare what was available. I'm a building estimator with some engineering experience so I have some idea of what I'm looking at.
The paintball safes are of a better design than the hyskor and h&f etc safes I looked at. They all have similar locking mechanisms but the paintball ones have five pins, the others have only three or two. None of them are particularly great quality but the price also reflects that. The paintball ones are basically half the price of equivalent but IMO better quality of design and security.

Wait for stumpies lock mechanism pic he always posts

apart from the handle and lock on that, it's identical to the paintball shop one, edge security
