I own a few pairs of Scarpas and really rate them for durability.

II've been using bestard breithorn pros for the last 6 months - been really good, mainly top/alpine hunting. Probabky not the best for bush stalking though.

dundee -rumour has it though youve been known to fit chains to the racing redbands to get through the sea of cowshit in the yard after they've had a good night on that lovely fresh grass

What model of Andrew's?? Mate brought some and didn't like them at all

I have 3 what i call high end boots. I hunt at least 1 x per week over the year, hunt North island, bush and creeks etc

Bestard Brethorn Pro- Got 18mths hard wear out of them, Had the leather in the heal where it has the softer bit of leather go due to "rubbing" on my gaters apparently, Fixed at my cost as out of warranty but as you can imagine never the same. Buy again.....maybe, there are still plenty of brands to try

Lowa Tibet GTX- Again at least 12 maybe 18mths hard use and again they went/are going in the soft part of the heel, maybe a size too big, although size 9 they are 43.5 Euro and wide fit. Would i buy again, yes with perhaps better fitting if poss. Still using though

Scarpa Nepal Pro- Found these too tight at the beginning and couldn't wear all day, These i still have as a "back up" pair of boots, they have stretched now and prob willing to try again for a whole day out, They are on the narrow fit but i believe they can be stretched- buy again............not sure, will try and wear out first.

Next boot i am not sure on, maybe try and use these up a bit first

I had a pair of the green chainsaw ones.I wouldn't get another pair.Inside heel lining fell apart at 6 months and the upper hooks for the laces seem to be further around on these boots than other brands. They catch on everything especially if you are in and out of machinery.
