    This Forum and its people still blow me away some days. @terryf and @jakewire are prime examples of good buggers and it is this generosity that we should all try to emulate if and when possible.

    Had one Mercator replaced because locking system broke ,the replacement did the same maybe ones made decades ago where ok wouldn't want one now there shit for 50 bucks.

    Never had an issue with mine, it's been through a couple hundy ducks a few deer, a dozen hares and about a dozen goats.
    I bought mine new about 12 months ago

    Not that the OP needs too but it pays to check out the second hand shops and recycling centres in towns, can find some very nice steel that just need a bit of TLC
