The size/weight of all these binos still massively puts me off. Where do you guys stash them when hiking along?

Can't see them being very comfy in a chest pocket which is where my Leica 1600s sit nicely! And I've had them ranging to 1999ft also. Won't go further...it seems that 1999 is their programmed maximum as I can get that quite often in right conditions, but never hit 2k.

I'm using a bino harness (Niggeloh Sport Harness) but am thinking I'll get a Kuiu Bino Harness to try as I like the idea of the binos being fully protected... With this sort of harness you don't notice the weight of the Geovids at all compared to standard bino's
If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

Just had a play with load data for my 7mm loaded on the card. Gives corrections out to 925m/1,000y. The display first shows the horizontal range then the correction (in my case clicks). After 925m/1,000y no correction is displayed, just 3 dashes like when no range is read. The range part still displays however. I work in mils and compared to Shooter, the corrections given were either the same, or 0.1 mil less at a few ranges. So based on that, at worst the point of impact would be 9.25cm different (at 925m) assuming that Shooter gives 100% accurate drops. The area I was ranging was slightly below where I was (maybe 2 - 4 degrees angle) so that may also explain the slight variations in the correction given (Shooter was set for 0 degrees).

I think it will be an awesome feature for LR varminting and that's where I'll use it most with my 6X47L

That makes sense, I'd be pretty worried about damaging them too . Thanks.

How do you find the objective lens caps on the Leica 10x42 HD B's, do they fall off easily? I've heard that was one of the 'cons' with them!

Tie them on with fishing braid looped through the rubber support gusset

Or put them back in the factory case where they belong & get a Kuiu or similar Bino harness
