"Your left foot looks quite a bit larger than your right and so I would def would not run two pairs of socks."
Do you mean do not run with 2 pairs of socks and use insoles instead to make them fit?

Also, does anyone have any experience/knowledge in the difference between Lowa "Wide" and "Standard" fits.
Buy a pair of gell insoles, look for Superfeet or Scholl brands. Some have more padding than others. I use the sport ones.
They take a bit more space than the factory insoles so you will most likely not need 2 pairs of Sox.

Second the gell insoles, Scholl I think. Stops the foot movement, particularly if you get the blisters on the ball of you foot.
Got these when the lowa factory insoles wore out. Should have done it earlier.
Thanks all... in the end I went with a pair of Woman's Tibets. Just a better fit all round.
What can I say, I got my Mother's feet.
I wouldn’t go smaller than what you have.
Feet look very soft with no muscle tone. Try barefeet to build the muscle and improve circulation, improve balance and toughen skin. Those feet aren't up to big walks in boots
