    Any case that can be locked is ok to fly with and weight is not an issue as it has to be checked in as an extra bag anyway so can be up to 23kg

    I just contacted them to order a case and they refused, said J A Russell's stock them and they are only a wholesaler. Pity looks like a nice case. By the time Russell's add their markup......

    There is no formal list of 'approved' cases for flying with, as long as it protects your gear from knocks AND is lockable. I sold my Ascent case as it's too heavy empty, by the time I added 2 guns and gear it would've been over 23kg, so am sticking with a Plano double which works a treat. Keep an eye out on TM and FB for 2nd hand ones/sales. Also SuperCheap have some good cases at reasonable prices from time to time.

    if anyone wants to cut out their own foam insert and needs an electric knife you can borrow mine. it was surprisingly hard to find one from anybody i knew
