Has a good calculator for working out what you owe.

Once you owe more than $60 in GST+duty then they will collect. Sleeping bags and clothing both have reasonably heavy duties, so the spend limit is much lower. Things like scopes have no duty so the $60 cap before they charge is gst only and hence is a purchase price of $400. (400 x 15% = $60). However once the $60 collection limit is hit they also add about another $50 in bio security levies, so you can pretty much write of a hundy.

Ive only ever had one package get past them, YMMV
Perfect explanation!! Exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much
By law, you are required to turn on your headlights if it's raining in Sweden.

How the hell am I supposed to know if it's raining in Sweden?

Yep got the pack and it fits great! Emailed the local firearms office to make sure they didn't forget about my application (haven't received a reply yet, no surprises there) and saw some bloody nice and comfy boots at hunting and fishing today, wasn't sure of the brand tho so wanted to research first. Haha thanks for the enquiry

BUT! I do use them as a fitting service I go in find the what I want try it on, get the size right.....then walk out
And buy the bastard on line for a lot less then what this lot sell it for.

Yea that's the one mate! But they don't have the EN ratings on there from what I can see, only the explanation as to how the ratings work? Haha

Did u get them to wrap it as a gift so that it could slip through customs?
