The small one will surprise you at how long it is and they come with string - the string is ok but I prefer paracord - if you search TardMe for "paracord" there are lots of people selling 30m/100ft lengths. The reflective stuff is good.
My mate's fly had that reflective cord that shows up in torchlight so ya don't trip over it at night and if I did it again I'd get that stuff.
I weigh down the edges with stones or branches and provided you're careful it doesn't rip.
I used about 3/4 of the paracord for the fly and the rest for a lifting rig for carcasses.
IMO they shed rain fine, I just make mine taut so that the wind flapping sound doesn't keep me awake at night.

    Think its a typo.
Should be mm if Im not mistaken and it means if you put it over the bottom of a pipe for example and filled that vertical pipe with water you would get it that full before water made it threw the fabric

Phillip loves his little bivvy but I wouldn't want to see two men in there as it would be just a little to cosy.

Sorry Rusky I haven't been on here much lately with exam. I love the design and the weight of it but I have a few reservations about whether it'll stand the test of time. The other day it was on 1-day for $60 so if you can find it on torpedo7 for that much next time they have a sale (they always have sales) then get it. Price of a box of ammo more or less. If you want to try before you buy you could always borrow mine for the weekend.

As for fitting two men, it would fit a man and a lady a bit better

That is the least he could do. He is pretty good though and would probably bring a hot chocolate at the same time.
