Options for an uber light hut bootie?

When i worked in the Yukon i had a pair of ankle high booties built of similar material to a croc. They had no holes and so were waterproof. Were the bees knees for a camp/hut boot. Could wear sock in wet grass and plod around on snow ect

Wondering if anyone knows of a similar item..

    Average pic of them

That was my first thought, cut down a pair of cheap gumboots to the length you want.

I wear a pair of boonies, while they have neoprene down the sides to aid getting on and off they are surprisingly waterproof.

Have found a few pairs of cutoff gumboots at huts around the place, get one with a lighter sole (and not steel caps with the top cut to low as you keep losing them) if you go this route

i Just use a pair of 'grandad' slippers for around the hut , with the plasticy rubbery sole from k-mart or warehouse with waterproof socks . Cheap as chips , warm , comfortable , weight nothing and take up no room in my pack .

Haven’t tried these myself but thought they’d be worth a try. https://www.gubba.co.nz/gubba-silicone-overshoes/ I think you can get them in a boot as well.

Not "waterproof "but i it is raining or walking through long wet grass none will be apart from a heavy water proof boot.Years ago a mate cut his foot wide open on a creek crossing & we had to get him flown out ,ever since l have carried zip up dive booties & use them when ever the boots get kicked off on a hunt ,they also great for stalking Sika etc in the thick stuff as the flexible sole allows you to feel sticks etc underfoot so makes for nice quiet stalking ,light, dry out quickly & make river crossings a breeze keeping boots /socks etc dry.
