I have a dogyu 30 cm, bloody amazing little tool, can take some serious abuse and keeps coming back for more. Seen a Stanley fat max bend though...

I must have got a bad one as I bent my dogyu straight trying to pull out a concrete nail then went to a stilleto dogbar and the claws snapped off then went to the cheaper fuller which has held up. I did purchase another dogyu today when I was replacing my stolen gear.

Depends what you want to do with it of course but this is IMO the last word in prybars.

    https://eshop.wurth.com.au/Extendabl...sku/en/US/AUD/

Mine is around 500-550 collapsed and around a meter extended, It has had my full 100 kilos bouncing up and down on it many times and the only thing it has fucked is the thing that needs fucking every time

Spent 6 weeks on a sand spit full of sand salt and garnet still works like new.

probably not the go for chippy work getting in and pulling nails etc but otherwise awesome.

That one looks great for mechanical applications, Moutere's suggestion type are good for installing doors (just rock them over on their side to adjust height)
Podger bars are more for riggers and are harder to keep in ya toolbelt IMO

I've bent a chinese cheapo L-shape bar before but you get what you pay for

Find an old car that's not being used, one with rear leaf springs........ Mums one will do.

Rip out the leaf springs, make a fire, heat up one of the leaves, grab a hammer and something to beat it against and forge yourself a pry bar.

    Cheers

You got it all wrong, if I'm doing that I might as well make a machete instead! And once I have a forge and anvil I can see me making all sorts of crap....

For a machete you want the blade off a lawn mower
With a forge and anvil you can fortify the island and keep JAFAs and mainlanders out

A machete made out of a car Spring would be a bloody awesome tool.

Playing with fire and beating red hot steel with a hammer is strangely therapeutic and very satisfying.

    Cheers

Arguing with an Engineer is like Wrestling a Pig in Mud.

After awhile you realise the Pig loves it.
