Thread: Sat phone or InReach rentals - whats out there ?

any one got info and costs for rental options ? Who's got them and they are good to deal with ?

Splashed out and got an inreach, really happy I did. On the freedom recreation plan $60/month

thanks @223nut, trying to avoid the big splash and renting a unit. One crowd has quoted me ~$200 for 10 days for Iridium sat phone. I already have a PLB for the emergency stuff

Already had a plb but being able to send messages home saying you will an extra night or to turn the spa bath on as your coming home early.....

It was a big splash but looked at cost of renting and if I did more than 5 5day trips it would cover itself... 10year battery... It will work out in my favour. I don't get reception in some places where I work so comes in handy
