"This is my Flag... Ill only have the one ..
That's very easily done @Happy especially with us older folks, I think a list with everything written down that we need to take. I have a room at home dedicated to my hunting gear so it's usually on hand when I'm ready to go but I still need to go and unlock the cabinet to get the bolt, mag and ammo and that's not always easy to remember.
When hunting think safety first
Thanks for that tip @Marty Henry about the hand sanitizer
It's all fun and games till Darthvader comes along
I respect your beliefs but don't impose them on me.
I used to carry tube and lighter for firestarting but now use a small butane torch, will get anything burning no matter how wet.
Leukotape for hot spots/ blisters

Went to buy some camouflage trousers the other day but I couldn't find any.
Do you have jackets with a zip in the collar for those stupid nylon hoods, or a drawstring in the waist? One of my jackets I have about 100m of fishing line in the collar with a couple of hooks wrapped in insulation tape, and around 25m of paracord inside of the waist loop. Just one of those things, rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Two torches, I started taking a spare when maglights were the thing. Two hours on a set of batteries and you never knew when the bulb would blow. Although I could change a bulb or the batteries in the dark I preferred to get out the second one. I still take two torches, even with LEDs and 18650 batteries that last for ever. Not needed the spare for myself but @Puffin has walked out with it.

Don't piss into the wind
First aid kit string and insul tape in the glove box with a small knife.
And best of all. Learn how to do something properly with the right gear and do it right the first time. There is nothing like having to do it a second time cos the first time got fu_ked up. If you avoid the crash, you wont need the first aid kit....
Wrap your shoelace around itself a second time with the first knot when tying your shoes. Often helps prevent the laces relaxing while you tie the bow knot.
Take a 12 inch piece of dental floss with you when hunting Tahr. That way you don’t need a measuring tape and you can floss your teeth.
