Thread: Shipping spotting scope US to NZ

Hey,

Has anyone shipped for the US to NZ recently? If so who did you use?

I checked Youshop which I have used in the past but their prices have gone through the roof. Would need to send it to a US address to be forwarded.
Or find someone thats heading over there and be prepared to bring it back for me..

Got a rangefinder through shipito.com last year. Was a bit of a punt and they certainly clip the ticket but still worth it in this case. Won’t do anything that attach to a firearm but all the others like youshop etc I checked out seen to have a blanket ban on hunting hardware and wouldn’t even accept a rangefinder…

Surely they realize the correct name for a rangefinder is a measurement tool for surveying property boundaries.

I bought a spotting scope in a few months ago but ordered it via a company I’ve bought optics off numerous times.

Postage was more than a scope but that was to be expected as the package was far bigger than a scope box… postage cost me US$86
