The Juma is good to work, shapes and sands easily, warm to the touch . Takes a very good polish and has great depth in the pattern.

    Big shout out @viper
I was the recipient of the above set and I'm sorry but the photo just doesnt do them justice. They look and feel amazing in person.
The whole experience was enjoyable, with getting regular emails and photos of progress through the different stages and the fact that nothing was a drama.....no matter how much I changed my mind
    Couldnt be happier thanks mate
    Cheers

Here's my first crack at making a knife, nowhere near as good as what you fellas are making.
My metal work is rough but I think that suits the "reclaimed" sheep shear aspect and the blade is plenty sharp.

Hey mate, the shears had an existing clip(?) or something welded to the handle where I drilled out and put the brass pin in. Then I beat the shit out of the handle with a ball peen to fit the antler and once it looked like a good enough fit I 2 part epoxied under the steel handle across the antler. Seems sturdy as, just a bit concerned the shiny handle may blow my cover bush stalking.
