Have you made that folder from scratch, is it a re-blade of an existing folder?
hi bremic , yes , I made the folder from scratch . it is a linerlock . The liners are titanium which is a mongrel to work with . I haven't got a mill so just a drill press and handtools. I have made a few folders but they are very time consuming and each time I swear I will never make another
Just got this one at the weekend, camel bone with brass liners, o1 steel, bubbling effect on blades is camellia oil for protection during storage
Looking at some of the old Sheffield blades, this is a old William Rogers " I cut my way " I have been renovating , just ground the blade to 30% for cutting. I did not want to polish the blade, just remove the rust, Not sure of the date of manufacture, 50s 60s ?
The large german folding is unusual.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

That folding knife above is called a dague A la d'estaing
Google the name and you will find many different models with the folding guard which is an original feature.
