Mate, you can grind a fair bit more off if they kydex to shape it a tad more, then if you take a buffing wheel and run the kydex edge on it it smooths it out and slightly melts the ends to make it smooth.
Then if you add a back piece as a spacer then the tec-loc can be mounted on both sides. Don’t be afraid to use more kydex as spacers etc.

That knife is very cool.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

I liked the light weight and toughness of the svord... But it was clunky, the handle was bigger than needed, and the top wasn't that usable for me...
So reshaped the tip, thinned down the grind a little and changed the handle to suit.
Rough as guts (but it was done with only another knife and sandpaper...)
Looks better than original I reckon.

14c28n , black canvas micarta and dyed spalted maple handles.
Ice blue G10 liners with brass pins.
Other knives are on the way.

Or you can stay within 300 yards and keep life a lot simpler.
