Just finished hunting knife with damascus blade, walnut scales, green micarta liners and brass pins.
Just needs some oil and a leather sheath and it's ready for some action.
Thanks to @gonetropo for helping out with the wood for the scales and @viper for inspiration and showing some different colors in a hunting knife

Another tale of a modified knife. It started out as a Spyderco Junction. The blade was exactly what I wanted, but it needed a new handle - in blue G10 so I don't lose it!

A couple of decorative mosaic pins would finish it off nicely.

Something different , a Kephart design knife.
Horace Kephart was a trained librarian and writer from the turn of last century in America.
When he went on his extended trips into the wilderness he carried three things. A short Tomahawk, a fixed blade and a small 3 inch folding knife.
Around 1900 to 1904 it looks like his design went commercial ( see Advert ) , I have know idea how successful these were.
The design is still copied today by the likes of Bark River and many other.
I got asked to build this so here is "my " version of a Kephart.
Full grind, double liners, 14c28n , brass pins and lanyard , 5 inch blade. Name: kephart-with-actual-600x291.jpg
