@Nick-D , what grinder did you buy ?
I know for guaranteed sure that Walnut husks / shells are used to dye wool by home spinners. I remember helping my Granny along with a bunch of other home spinners in her knitting circle collect them and watching the wool being boiled and turned in great wet skeins in the jam pan. Boiling leather is probably not the best but soaking in a liquor made from Walnuts would work I think.
New Copperhead knife just finished. 14c28n , carbon fibre pins with toxic green and black liners.
Stabilized wood of unknown type but lovely grain and feel.
4.5 inch approx full grind blade, no home for this one so it's available , PM me if interested , I will also put it in the for sale section.
