They have memory so turn back on to the last mode used. Shouldn't need to cycle through all the modes.

This is what happens when you let the Mrs distract you well de-doming my way, you end up with a cancerous growth. Frankensteined it back to life though.

Yeah just couldn't be bothered ordering one. Was curious to see if I could breath some life back into it and it hasn't appeared to effect its performance or obstruct its beam so will leave it like that until it fails

A word of warning - it is good to be careful about the 'Maxtochs' you buy. Some torches are labelled maxtochs, are offered very cheap at $30-40, but they are quite different lights - rip-offs - and have nowhere near the same tech spec or outputs. For example this Q5 led thing sold as a new maxi:

    Wholesale MAXTOCH SN6X-2S, S for Superb, Upgrade SN6X-2 CREE XM-L2 / XML2 1200LM 18650 LED Hunting Flashlight, with Portable Canvas Bag, $39.13/Piece | DHgate

    The genuine ones are these:

Aliexpress.com : Buy MAXTOCH SN6X 2S + Nylon Holster, Superb Hunting Flashlight , Flawless Beam and Long Throw, Get a $6.00 holster at $2.00 only from Reliable hunting light suppliers on EST GROUP Co., Ltd

I see a new maxi 2S with basic charger and crap batts sold instantly for $150 the other day on trademe. They are getting well known.

Sorry dude I may have cocked up, think it was a different item that was down that low, email mentioned the maxtoch as well but looking at my wishlist its currently at $61.51 with holster.

Still cheap for what they do, plus free shipping.

Just make sure you buy it from the trader EST GROUP Co., Ltd and you will be sweet.
