    Skopecam to help teach kids to shoot

    After seeing Owen's (TOA Hunter Gatherer) video of him using a skopecam to get his young daughter shooting, I reckon it's a bloody brilliant idea for that purpose.

    I see they do a universal mount now to take any phone. Surely that's got to be the go eh.

    Don't think I'd need the foam stock extender for the kids as their heads are well away from scope anyway.

    Who's got one, is there anything else I need to know before I go ahead and order one?

    @GWH

    I have a device here that will attach your phone or camera to any scope.

    Your welcome to try it out if you like.

    Cheers

    Cheers for the offer Pete.

    Yep that's what the skopecam is, just a plastic device that clamps onto eyebox and mounts the phone in the right spot.

    Did you make yours or a commercial unit?

    The one I have is aluminium alloy

    Once mounted you have the ability to swing the phone/ camera away from the ocular lens of the scope then simply swing it back into position when required.

    Come pick it up and give it a try out next time your passing.

    Cheers

    If anyone is ordering one then I'll jump in on that action.

    Not so fast there lads, no matter which way I mount it I cannot get clearance for the bolt to cycle. But the theory is there.
