    I would recommend a Exped sleeping bag from Bivouac. I just bought one for winter hunting as i sleep cold. The Waterbloc line have plastic welded seams so it is completely water proof on the outside.

    These are used by the swiss army so have proved their worth. I have the 1000 model which is a -23 rating but would be far too hot in summer.
    The other nice thing is that they are made for real sized men. Im a 120kg guy and have incredibly wide shoulders, i fit well in this but anybody can use them with the tightening straps.

    Mrs arrived home with a kathmandu navigator v7 bag for me this evening and a silk liner as an extremely early birthday present (nice work hun). looks like the goods for winter, will report on how it goes in few weeks time! Mean sale on at kathmamdu at the moment. Was $699 down to $350! 50% off. Chur!

    Yeah I rock the kathmandu moon raker, scored it for $299 down from 1k last year

    ive got an ex army featherdown job probably late 70s-early 80s igues.as said its to narrow across my shoulders ,but ive just got one of those coleman polarfleese liner bags from smiths city so willtrial that this w/eon an organised gooseshoot out at ellesmere.

    yes.......im fucken hopeless when someone offers me a beer/box to drink!! when it comes to boxes i just cant refuse.its my character downfall.I blame the army you know.they promote drinking.
