If you already have a bag, don't forget Twinneedle in Chch. For $150+- they will launder and add 100gms (thats heaps) of high quality down to your bag!

Hiya. If in Auckland, try Doyles surplus stores. They often have good deals on serious camp gear.
I'm 6ft 2 and 100kg's. Pretty broad. I fit easily in the Exped comfort, with a lot of shoulder room. The other lightweight bags I tried all drove me nuts and I couldn't even get my arms down along my sides in most cases. Not that I sleep like that, but it's good to be able to move around. It packs a fair bit larger than their lightweight offering, but still squashes down really good.
Yeah I'm the same I borrowed my brothers Kathmandu one for a overnight trip to see what it was like and had to leave it half undone just to get in it and ended up freezing all night
I've got an old fairydown one that I've had for about 15 years and plenty big and warm enough but it takes up half the room in my pack

I've got a Exped waterblock 1000 that I'm looking at getting rid of if anyone is interested?
