Second one is its relly the antelope hunter I got for my son. It hasn't cut up anything in anger. Maybe some parries?
The bear hunter became a bear hunter 11 with the same handle as the antelope. All discontinued now I believe-pics are for reference only
I seem to remember the bear having a similar curve to the back as the antelope but maybe not. The Anty seems to be a similar shape and style to the knife shape approved earlier on-more finger grooves though?

I had an Antelope Hunter II, looked more or less the same as that Bear Hunter but I think slightly smaller (and mine was orange handle). Great knife, one of my favourites I've had.

Lost it in scrub somewhere when a matagouri ripped it out of the sheath. After that I stopped wearing knives on my belt and kept them in a pack or bumbag instead. Looked for a replacement a few times but couldn't find one.

I have a Kershaw Elk Hunter now which is a good knife too, but its a guthook blade which makes it less versatile. Seemed like a good idea at the time but I liked the Antelope Hunter better.

@GravelBen yeah the Anty is a little smaller then the Bear hunter. If the Anty had a handle like the old bear it would've been better.
Apart from the blade the elk hunter would handle well? Better shape than the anty

@csmiffy My Antelope had the same handle with the finger grooves, I really liked it.

The Elk hunter does handle well - a bit bigger, heavier and more solid than the Antelope. Handle is a softer rubber texture and rounder fatter profile, the Antelope handle was flatter squarer profile.

Actually looking on Kershaw website I think mine is the Elk Skinner rather than Elk Hunter, deeper flatter blade shape.
