By the way that was a sweet tramp up near turkey tail...I can't remember the exact name of it, but the view looking south west from the hill we climbed was a beautiful big braided river that looked like the tail of a turkey! I am perched on the edge of a huge cliff, it's straight down 200m+. My mate was ballsy enough to stand at the edge blowing in the wind but I am a pansy and had to crawl to the edge when he snapped this pick. BTW this is in the south island, near Arthurs Pass.

I love 'em eh (code 5s), magnums and these new stupid ass "KCBs - Kiwi Combat Boots" are the ones we get issued now. KCBs are shite. Mags are like slippers, but wear out faster.

I've been in bed the last three days with mega flu so haven't even had a chance to wear my new guys around the house! They sure look pretty though...

Who is Mega Flu Dougie? I never saw him join the forum and what are you doing in bed with the bugger? What's the world coming to?

Rushy, I wish Megaflu was a sexy beast with amazing back massaging ability. Unfortunately he turns out to be a real f*****g bastard. Luckily I have the best man in the world who has been delivering me cold jello and admistering vapour rub I'm hoping tomorrow I will improve.

Neckshot, J boots look like the shiznit. I have not had the pleasure of having any though! Probably my favorite boots in the wardrobe are my John Bulls. I bought them myself for my customs boots. They are super comfy but a little heavy. They were awesome to have on day in and day out, never gave me sore feets or back. Are yours steelcap? I have never wandered into the bush with the jellytips before - cold toes? Too heavy? Tell me man, tell me!
