    Spika Pack-lite scalpel replacement blades

Just picked up one of the above in H&F (yeah I know - but I had a voucher to spend)

It has a replaceable blade system, (yeah I know), but I thought it might actually be useful for that occasional skinning job, and my usual blade isn’t up to the task.

So - is anyone else using one - and have you found a replacement scalpel blade that fits the handle?

    It’s a 7cm blade and is branded Spika 01

I suspect there will be a standard surgical type blade available, provided I get the handle size and blade shape corrrect….

Google isn’t helping me much ……. can anyone here?

NOBODY IS PERFECT - but if you're from Yorkshire you're pretty close
The above was written slowly, for those of us who can't read quickly.

It looks like a standard #60 blade to me...Name: IMG20211227095922.jpg

But just had a closer look and the #60 doesn't have that little nub at the bottom of the handle end poking out . I assume it is to assist blade removal but is it actually required due to your handle ?
On mine it has that little cutout on the back of the
blade arm you can see in pic to allow blade removal .

From the look of it it appears to be about identical to the ones for my Havalon Piranta. I’d expect most of those style knives to have a relatively standardised blade. I use a 60A blade in my Havalon. There was a thread on this section a couple months ago about replaceable blade knives like these- I do recall that the AliExpress knives in the thread used the same blades as my knife.

A quick look at my comment history will find you the thread easily enough.

It's a 60a blade the a designates the tab. Havalon make that model. Most 60 style blades will work its just safer and easier to remove with the tab.

carbon fibre scales folding knife from ali express . Owes me about $40 with around 40 blades (bought extra , came with 20 x #60 blades) - #60's and #24's .

sghould be a few more pics of it in this thread ....https://www.nzhuntingandshooting.co....hunting-76046/

I posted a link to the knife in first post and more pics near end of last page on that thread when it arrived .
Have since ordered four more for workmates who were also well impressed with it .

I have also made a wee leather sheath for it to throw in my bumbag with a few spare blades ....
