    Stoney Creek Huntlite Overtrousers?

Any experience of these pants? They're supposed to be waterproof and breathable. I'm also hoping they are quiet when on the move. Cheers.

@MB I bought some when they had their last clearance sale. Got em for $150 instead of $250 as it was their old real tree camo line that got replaced by the Tuatara camo. Really liked the look of em when they arrived- felt nice and robust. & they performed well in really shitty weather. As far as quietness goes- they’re definitely not the quietest in the world, but they’re not awful. About what you’d expect from rain gear with that soft exterior- the soft outside is quiet when brushing against stuff in the bush, but you still get some noise from the inner membrane rustling like any rain gear does. Breathability was fine.

My problem was that half the seam sealing fell out when I washed it after only the second use. Sent back & SC said it was heat damage from washing, although I never do hot washes. My standard wash cycle is 40 degrees, which is exactly what they recommend on their website. They just gave me my money back which I found annoying cos now it’ll cost an extra hundred bucks to replace with the same thing. So I’m currently on the lookout for other good options.

Thanks Pixie. Looks like I'm still on the hunt. None available in my size and Stoney Creek not sure whether they will make any more. Odd because they are in their 2021/22 catalogue.

That is weird. Due to my issues above I’m also needing some so I’ll be following this and your other post about recommendations. I had been looking at the Bushbuck Defender ones, but it’s hard to trust the quality when they curate the reviews on their site to only show good ones & can’t seem to really find any independent reviews of them.
