a cheap way to make the most of that expensive coat that just doesnt cut it, keeping rain out.
I did that with some Huntech dry pants that were never dry. They are now!

What did you use on you Hydrophobia Ryan?
I would like to do mine

Don't really give a shit where stuff is made if it does what it's supposed to do, you could just as easily go out and spend $1500 on a Arc'terx jacket (that all the fellas climbing everest etc do..) and it's still made in Vietnam.

I just object to the markup, seems Vietnam is the new China for cheap labour.

Does anyone have a Nitz rain jacket and what’s it really like?
I tried one on and like the way it packs down, it also appears to have a long enough tail for sitting on wet ground and glassing.
I’d say 90% of the time I wear my rain jacket is as a wind barrier, but when I wear it in the rain I expect it to stay dry, I’m less than impressed with the latest Swazi offering. Very heavy and isn’t very water proof. Maybe it needs recoating with DWR.
Ask your father. He had a smart idea. Still most dairy cockies arent stupid. Also great for that biting wind on the bike when you wave around the Murupara moonbeam.
