    Swarovski ATS65 25-50 wide vs 20-60

Looking at potentially purchasing a swaro 65mm spotter coming from a Vortex Viper 65mm.

Theres a couple of options on the eyepiece. One being the 50x wide and one 60x. Wondering if anyone has had any experiences on either and how they found them or any preferences. Little hard to tell from instore as doesn't compare to out in the wilderness.

    Main use is alpine hunting

20-60 is fantastic, used mine for years. Regularly use the max 60x zoom.

    I have a 65mm angled swaro with the 20-60.
Never tried the wide angle but happy with the 20-60 (mate has the same). Often have it cranked up to 60x for trophy evaluation

    I have 20-60

Sometimes wish I had wide angle as it is very narrow on high power.

If you are one of those people that struggle with optics in general e.g head in right position for sensitive eye relief or generally uncoordinated I would strongly suggest the 25-50 to give a greater field of view and not get "lost" on the hill or in the heat of the moment
