By that logic we should only purchase products if the people creating them (or who are at the helm of the companies that manufacture them) hold values and beliefs similar to ours? Good luck finding the gear you need, if it can only be made by people who think just like you!

While we're at it, we may as well quit drinking beer; stop purchasing mass manufactured clothing; stop eating chocolate; stop purchasing ammunition and firearms (do you think Beretta, Colt, and other long-standing arms companies have ever given a toss about the wellbeing of human beings?)

Davey's opinions and personal beliefs have no bearing on the utility (or lackthereof) of his products. And isn't that the whole point of purchasing something? Because you like the product, or believe it'll add value to your life?

The whole point is it's horrendously expensive for what is in effect shredded milk bottles. Does it count as a boycott if you weren't going to buy anything anyway? Add in moving production to Thailand and throwing us under the bus and you get tripple cnut points.

Didn't realize he moved production to Thailand. Yes, I agree, it's somewhat overpriced (what clothing isn't these days?)

So you've never liked his products to begin with? It's a losing battle for Davey then.

No but like many other companies, if there are several options people chose on things like service, reputation and yes even actions and opinions of the company employees, shareholders and owners.

My household does this all the time to inform our purchasing decisions. Environmental standards, company ethics, operation policy, etc etc. Its not always possible, but given there is no shortage of hunting and outdoor clothing brands available it's easy enough to chose to shop elsewhere.

That and tbh I've never been that amazed by Swazi gear. It's well made but not particularly well designed, doesn't use top end materials and is for the most part, very heavy. Combine that with the fact it is eye wateringly expensive, and yeah I'll spend my bucks elsewhere
