The key thing to remember is that prior to 15th March 2019, the owner of the company hadn't said "boo" (at least to my knowledge) about anything regarding ownership of semi-automatic centrefire rifles. How he suddenly found his voice after last year's tragedy suggests that this a person who puts profit before principle.

One of my first jackets was a Swazi Wind River. Still going strong. Love it. Have heard Davey speak at functions and read his book, both excellent. When I heard his semi auto comments I felt betrayed by someone I admired. I reached out and emailed him via their website to try and understand why he had decided to speak out when I had never read or heard him say such things in the past. I got a reply that he was overseas and would respond when he returned. He never did.

I don't begrudge anyone an opinion...but his was outright wrong and populist opportunism, IMHO.

I will spread that list like butter and push it harder than a drug dealer.

It needs to be consistently published and refreshed for years to exact a pittence of revenge on these mother fuckers.
If people like HnF and this Swazi idiot, Deerstalkers etc had used logic and held their tongue or supported us we might have stood at least a fair chance of being heard.

As it was, we all know how it went down.

I will never forget this shit.

Well I bought an alpine jacket from here second hand. Works well.

    Have some shorts too.

They seem to work well for what I need.

Unless you have a better kiwi made and owned company to buy from?

I find myself steering away from Swazi these days which is a shame because it is very good gear .
Am I being irrational or do others feel the same way .

I have a lot of Swazi gear, it was my go to brand for nearly 20 years.

I won't buy another item from them, or from the hunting and fishing chain
