Hey boys,
Anyone using a MollyMe that can answer a couple questions for me?
What does it ride like?
how well does the rifle scabbard work? does it still hold and work if the pack isn't full?

Getting a belt in a few days hopefully. Good to support a kiwi business
cheers mate, doesn't answer my question but always good to know
Probably a slightly bias answer coming from us but.... the scabbard can work with the pack half empty as there are compression straps which go across the full width the pack which can fit around the rifle do draw it into the pack closer. It also has up to 4 points of contact on the pack, from the rifle butt pouch, center compression, large side compression and you can also use the top roll top system to go around the barrel of the rifle to ensure its secure.
And for the ride, undoubtedly the best ride you will ever get!
We do have a demo pack lying around which we are more than happy to for people to trial, just need to find it first.
@Tombi I borrowed one from a mate last year for a few hunts to see how they perform. They are a nice pack, so nice in fact, that I have one on order at the moment with Twinneedle.
They carry surprisingly well and can handle some seriously heavy loads comfortably. The one I borrowed has a couple of utility pouches on the outside which were really handy for storing binoculars, snacks, torch, knife, bipod, etc. They stayed in the pack until I shot something, then were strapped to the Molly on the outside to provide more room in the main pack for meat.
The scabbard / fold down compression tongue at the back is great for stuffing your jacket in while not needed. Also great for holding a pair of legs or head.
The foam insert also doubles as a nice sitting pad, plus the fold top clip on the main body is quiet to access also.
I used it in the open tops of the Kawekas and the thick nasty bush in the Kaimais, it worked well in both situations. I like the fact it takes up bugger all space when rolled up in your main pack, and is quick to pull out and fill if your gear is in pouches / small dry bags.
I am looking forward to getting my, soon hopefully!

@Bryan thanks man some good info, do you ever use the rifle scabbard?
@twinneedle thanks, you do sell it well but I'm very aware of your bias haha. Your website has the multicam on back order, when are you likely to have more in that colour?
cheers,
Tom
@Tombi I never got a chance to use the scabbard before I had to give the pack back to my mate. I did have it stacked with deer 3 times and was comfortable with how the pack carried.
I have seen him use it plenty and I like the multiple strapping points for the rifle.

cheers mate think I will have to order one myself
I bought a Twinneedle pack secondhand about 6 weeks back and if it's not the Mollyme it is it's first cousin. Its very good, comfortable and tough and carries the rifle well.

Cheers guys appreciate the info. I've ordered on in multicam hope to have it on Tuesday
I've got one and it might be a bit heavier than all my non-hunting SAR mates packs but it is tough as and soooo comfortable.
Mine turned up in the mail this morning. Will give it a test run 1-8 March chasing Sika. I like what I see of it so far, the scabbard feature is one of the features I'm keen to try out.

@shift14 when did you order that? Mine hasn't shown up yet....
Sorry, hunters belt not molly me
