    I am also late 50s and not over weight.
    I have slept in my Fairydown down to -10c in a tent.
    Want something just a bit lighter.
    Looking at what is available around the 700-900 grams mark.
    Sorting some lighter gear for some armed tramps.
    Always reckon you need to allow for the worst.
    CNI no wind clear sky with a bit of altitude can get cold any time of the year.
    Always use a liner and have merino tee,long johns,beanie,pufffer and socks to put on if needed.
