Wanted single person tent for tops hunting

Hi guys I am after a light winter quality single person tent to carry in after Cham and Tahr. I probably won’t be able to do more than one trip a year so I don’t want to spend a thousand dollars on a new MSR if I can find a good used one so if one of you wants to get rid of one hit me up please

Just a other way to look at the use one trip a year.

You wait all year for a trip and your saving a few hundred dollars that could ruin that one trip a year. I'd be getting the best one I could find to make sure it went well and I didn't stay awake all night wishing i spent a few hundred more cause now it's pouring with rain and all my gears wet because the tents blown to bits

    Hi
Not sure if you are set on a MSR tent but I use a Macpac Microlite 1p tent, had it 7 years and still holding up well, very easy to set up, around 1.7 from memory with a great waterproof tub floor.
It’s fairly cosy but it can get me and the hound in with pack and gear in the vestibule.
Currently on sale at Macpac for $499, I definitely rate it.

x2 for the microlight, they are bombproof..... only issue is the sagging inner but thats an easy enough fix

I've got an MSR and one off Alibaba that is a copy of the MSR. Both perform the same. I will sell you my msr and buy 5 more knock off if you want

I have an Exped Mira find it to be pretty good. Tested in a shitty storm at home stood up well.
R93 who used to be on here had one too.
The better quality hiking tents are good value.
Picking where you pitch it will protect any tent to a degree.

You're welcome to make contact and pending a chat and cup of coffee, borrow a winter grade tent (two options here). PM me you number.

I’ve got a little Exped too, can’t remember the name. Bigger than the single hoop bivi’s, you can sit in it. Good vestibule, very light I think 1,2 kg and bomb proof. Been hammered in high winds, heavy rain, and light snow.
