    One thing I'd recommend and don't see a heap of hunters using is a neck warmer. Even just a thin buff style one will help keep alot of heat in. Also handy when bush stalking and sneaking in close to roaring stags to cover your face.

    Just make sure they are not covering your mouth/nose when glossing or they will make your binos fog up.

    mine is single piece of polarfleece...maybe 1mtr long by 600 wide,folded in half and open edge sown 1/3rd of way down then corrosponding split made up closed side...covers neck all wrikled up..will pull over head (bit like discribing something else really LOL) can use as hoodie..the two flappy ends go right down and can tuck into pants,covering core really well...man does it hold in heat,keep me warm... at night it gets stuffed full of spare cloths and flap tucked into each end to form a soft pillow.
    crawford they are called after the Crawford airforce base used in WW1 I believe.
