I've been looking at these too but I was put off by the battery life. Wife told me to "get over it" and just accept that these kind of watches need to be recharged regularly - she has a rechargeable Garmin and finds it works ok for her, but I was worried that a week in the bush using the GPS functions might find you with a dead watch when you need it most.

$450 delivered is a very good price. Could you PM me the info on that please?

    Cheers.
A couple of my work mates have the traverse.
Very nice watch. Battery life is not an issue. They get 3 weeks to a month on theirs and use it for running and heaps of other things. It charges overnight as you would your phone. Wish I had it now as I am in a jungle camp where I can't buy a cheap watch or battery for my current watch.
I also always have a battery bank with me in the hills that will charge it and other things if I need to.

As I have just ordered this I will wait and see if it shows up all tikity boo before I put you on to it.

I get home to NZ next Friday and it should be there. Pm to remind me and I will give you the details once it all works out safe and sound.

I just wish I could get a new piece of glass for my old Seiko. That thing could keep time a lot better than the new stuff.

Was the ultimate watch to have as a kid (for me at least). Dad brought one and a Casio GF-2 back from a business trip to Japan. #mindblown I LoL retrospectively at clocking the game on the GF-2, all of the screen / bars / indicators, basically any display area went completely bonkers - thought the watch had fucked out on me but then started from level 1 again...
