    A Wavy Blade

I thought I'd polish up the blade of my mercator to make it look nice and be easier to clean.
This was on a nice flat metal/diamond grit stone.

someone been using it as a pry bar at some stage....one of then scotchbrite like discs on grinder will polish it up...NO I did not suggest sharpening with angle grinder..... just polish blade CAREFULLY...did this recently to most of the bladed tools in shed....sure brings them up nicely, very easy to work towards edge of axe or slasher with it,not removing metal so touched up edge burrs without gouging great hunks out.....

This is super common on factory made blades. You'd be amazed how many don't even come close to flat.

Usually doesn't effect performance merely cosmetic.
