What do you guys think of this heated apparel?

    Hi guys.

We just launched our Kickstarter. What do you think about this kind of heated apparel for outdoorsy use?

    All feedback is much appreciated.

in my opinion , this is as bad as the cell phone seller , joins forums across the world that have "hunting" in title , to see if they can get their kickstarter project going , ...

Guess it's a good way to get the word out though.

I wouldn't use the gear. NZ isn't really cold enough and even boarding in -40c in Japan with decent merino base layers I was never cold.

Going to be an extremely small niche market.

    Exacly, do your market research.

for the weight of the vest and spare batteries you could carry a hell of a puffer jacket

Solution looking for a problem. Tank crews in the Russian winter have this tech, but not necessary for 99% of cases.

Slap a huge price on it and market it to the rich tourists who show up to view the northern lights unprepared, and to the hotels that accommodate them.

Isn't that how you get faster communication.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

    They sure do.
The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
