This is the one I ordered and have no complaints: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Weav...461007827.html
I don't think I paid that much for it though. I can't vouch for the swivels as I didn't need them, so took them off right away.

@mopheadrob I really have no idea what it does. I often wonder what's it for while waiting for a deer to walk out.

Thanks team....plenty of useful suggestions/recommendations there.
Z aim sling
Keeps the rifle from slipping off your back
No good with a pack tho.
as above the zaim sling is the best ive used
Anyone tried those ones twin needle sells, Vickers tactical sling maybe?
Lol, i've got the exact same one and absolutely love it! I cut off the connecters at either end of the sling and tied around some paracord. Then i just tie it to either end of my rifle when heading out and its the business!
Is more durable and solid than any other sling i've owned. Every time i put it on i have a laugh to myself tying an old looking sling to fancy modern rifles!
Sharing cos I thought you fellow DIYers / lifehackers might like this. Those z-aim slings look like they would solve my problems, but don't look too high-tech... I took another look at my sling and reckoned it wouldn't take much to convert it. I pulled off the stupid rubber bit @FatLabrador and used the webbing to attach an old webbing buckle I'd kept for a rainy day. Another bit of webbing I found had a ladder-lock attached, so I didn't even need to bust out the wife's sewing machine. Job's a good'n
@mopheadrob , I like your style, I had the exact same thought after seeing a video of that sling in action
@Tasbay has a solution
An itch ... is ... a desire to scratch
I have a couple of The Ultimate rifle slings. From Ebay or somewhere online. They are made of a rubbery material, absorb bouncing and wont slip off your shoulder and can be worn as a double sling over both shoulders
There used to be a you tube video on them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PL6iKhG5CJ0. That might be it.
I have found them very good to deal with and a good product.
I've just modified both of my rifle slings in the same way, wish I had seen/remembered your post, it would have saved me a little head scratching! For those that are interested, you need some 25mm webbing, a buckle, and some three bar sliders (or whatever they're called). You don't even need an attachment point on the sling itself, I put the strap through the sling swivels at the top end. It seems to work very well indeed.
