Yes and maybe now the edge has had the hoon taken out i can give it another crack

As stated John will and can make pretty much what ever design you are after and what ever steel, He is temp down at the moment but not for long

I have one of his hand made knives and love it, in fact was using it the other day and a mate wanted to know what it was. It will be with me for a while, great shape, photo below. Mine is the one in the red pouch and the Hoki Hunter is the brown sheath. I have also been getting in his "Hoki Hunters" and making sheaths and reselling. If anyone is interested then please PM me

@HNTMAD Do you stitch in a extra bit of leather in the middle to protect your stitches from cutting or some other method?

Add in a seperate piece to protect stitching, sometimes 2 to allow for thicker handle where steel is involved

Ha, well I'm sure he's trying to use it, handle wood looks nice, whatever it is, never been a fan of Worthingtons signature double pins, prefer bigger singles or hidden ones and that thong hole looks like it should go further back to me but the overall look is very smart, depending on specks it could be something I would use, with a slight change in the handle...plus should prob not be steeled but stropped...

It was a general shape copy from one of Craigc's collection. drew plan and sent it to John, Cant remember the steel, I have been told.....many times and still cant remember LOL, at the end of the day it works, i think i asked for a higher carbon steel instead of stainless. The timber is unknown, @Tahr may remember or John if he comes on. It is a really nice knife to use, I do steel it out in the field when needed, when it needs a tong up i use the lansky system and yes a leather strop. Prob make you knife fellas kringe but it works.

Using a steel is fine on the carbon steels like L6, O1 etc. Its the hard supersteels where you will strike trouble or find a steel ineffective.
