    Yeh its an awesome spot when we we done recon it was clear as a bell and mt cook looked awesome its maybe 10k away

    If we had a spotting scope you could probably see them in the mountains across the lake. I wouldn't be surprised if they have wandered through the paddock we were in at some stage.

    Great vid Username, looking a bit dark there at the end, but easy to see the geese silhouetted against the sky?

    Yip we shot till 11pm was almost full moon the last lot if geese on the vid was about 8:30 9:00. As soon as the moon came out from behind clouds the geese would come. we didnt leave until the cloud had set in so the geese couldn't see to land. There was only half a doz there in the morning when we arrived at 6am

    Which is why the half hour each side of sunrise sunset doc rules is a load of shit,maybe in the far north but here in summer with no moon you can safely see to shoot at least a couple of hours after sun set,before sunrise even more further south.
    "Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
