OUCH....one will hope the .12ga versions arent too much or scavenging shot not economically feasible.

i had some bismuth last year i got given. was brilliant but smashed the birds to pieces. Was loading 36 gram 6s as thats the load data i could find. i did buy some falcon stuff too for a good price so i could open them up and scab the shot for the 410 but it think 4s are a bit big. Id like at least a 7 shot or smaller.

shit thats a dag sounds more like what tungsten does from the one and only time i used it on geese
the main problem with the early bismuth was that it fragmented or was to soft.
obviouly they upped the hardness facter was yours copper plated or nickle maybe??

I am also considering 20g for both ducks and rabbits, the reason mainly for my wife, I do `t think she can handle well for a 12g shotgun, and I do `t want blow rabbit out.

suggestion for your wife re 12g on rabbits -buy some clay loads 26/28gm -these are easy to manage bugger all recoil;in a reasonably well designed gun. chexck some store could be stocking clay loads in steel already.

Thanks...I have seen how she performed clay shooting with 12g

Not sure what brand etc it was would have to find the bottle .but it was very hard .I put it in the vice to ensure it was not lead..under pressure it sort of exploded in pieces where the lead just squashed .
