I use the 2 most open chokes that came with mine. The ammo was way too tight with the full choke.

I had the chokes with 3 and 4 bars today which I believe is the IC and Mod with #6 28g... Missed a rooster at about 25/30 yards, the dog was not happy...
If I get a chance next week I'll pattern the gun with #5, #6 and #7s...
Jim how come you wouldn't put 3 inc in the 20g?
1bar is the tightest choke and 5bars is the most open choke.
eley hi flyer 30 gram 5,s for longer pheasants fiocchi trap 7s over the dog 9,s for quail upland i just leave the imp cyl in and if i miss them twice with the sevens the eleys are probably giving half choke patterns out of the quarter choke. if i get away 3 shots on quail the first 2 will be 9,s , 7.5s after that 3 inch 20 gauges only use in on flaring geese[fiocchi 2s or winchesters super pheasant load in cooper plated american 4,s our 3,s] otherwise it defeats the purpose of the 20 in the first place.most used load would be gamebores,2 3/4inch 30 gram in 4,s and 5,s only cos i cant get 6.s
used 3inch magnum loads in a franchi raptor on ducks for a bit of a change..... was an excellent combo
a 3 inch magnum fired in a lightweight 20g would be frightening, at both ends.
Makes me cringe when fathers buy their sons a nice light 20g (great choice) and then buy the heaviest loads they can thus making the gun boot more than the 12g which is precisely what they were trying to avoid
Trust the dog.........................................ALWAYS Trust the dog!!
Pete the reason is outlined above. You have a twelve, if you need a bigger load of shot (which you don't for upland, your 20 will do it all) use the 12, it will do it better.
For most game shooting I have never used anything more than a half choke in the second barrel, you will find that a revelation coming from a commie gun haha!
RIP mr Bikal
hell no Toby...I'm keeping that tank...
If I ever come across a nice piece of walnut I might do a DIY project and build a stock for it for the sake of keeping myself busy.
The gun itself its in a pretty mint shape, and you wouldn't get that much if you sold it anyways....
I'll keep it as a back up gun. or my father can use it next year hopefully...
Or I'll just take it to Macedonia and shoot buck shot with it on driven boar. Baikal back there is like the Beretta in the western world... LOL

My brother uses the old u/o bikal now. Suits him and his midget arms.
She's loose as though aye @Pointer been around a bit that one
Hull all is the manufacturer . Shot mostly ducks so far and seems to hit real hard . Use it on quails too . Would be interested if anyone else has used it ? Pretty sure it was $130 a slab . I'll definitely get some more.
