    Thanks, seems so straight forward I figured someone else must have traveled this way before me. Just looking at how fragile the commercial available ones appear to be I figured there must be an easy option for DIY. And I didn't have pigeon on my mind, and taste buds, when I was drying the bottle, ... honest!

    Upland stalker made a set out of plastic bottles a year or so ago. He reported that they worked well. The thread is still in the gamebird section of the fish n hunt forum if you want to go and find it.

    3.5hp B&S powerplant with a couple of stiff steel rods welded on would do a primo job gadget.mind you if decoyl eaves arm it'll probably kill any thing in its way.
