Just to crush GM dreams of riches- I have hunted over a nice spread of these decoys. GM is in very good company coming up with the concept. They work well and with the pin in the right spot they move nicely in a light breeze, stack well, and are cheap.

Thanks, seems so straight forward I figured someone else must have traveled this way before me. Just looking at how fragile the commercial available ones appear to be I figured there must be an easy option for DIY. And I didn't have pigeon on my mind, and taste buds, when I was drying the bottle, ... honest!

Upland stalker made a set out of plastic bottles a year or so ago. He reported that they worked well. The thread is still in the gamebird section of the fish n hunt forum if you want to go and find it.

3.5hp B&S powerplant with a couple of stiff steel rods welded on would do a primo job gadget.mind you if decoyl eaves arm it'll probably kill any thing in its way.
