They sure do and its a laugh watching a mallard manovure the acorn too swollow it whole. Got a vid some where will have a look or I will feed a duck an acorn tomorrow an post it up.

I grabbed a hand full of the bigger acorns and fed the ducks they scoffed them back pretty quick.
