    epic goose hunt

    wow pretty awesome photos alright. That 5th photo you can see the pellets punching through the chest

    That was the monday morning and the best shoot of the weekend. Every one was shagged and only three of us bothered getting out of bed the geese came straight in was beautiful! 25 that morning.

    That was a serious culling exercise..................

    As I am getting the impression that the buggers are spreading around Jaffasville a lot more in the last two years, it is just as well that there is no closed season on them.

    Looks like you guys at Redgate had a hell of a time. I was on Isolated Flat and would have been lucky to have seen 80 birds. I suppose thats why they call it hunting and not catching. Nice work.

    We were surprised isolated flat done so poorly as a lot of birds came from that way.

    Well done Pete. I knew you would be on the best block We got 60 from the Upper Acheron, had to work hard for them though, no sitting on a tarn all day for us
