My goal is to put petros and his Irish setter onto some pheasants & quail during the week we are up north , Pointer is joining us also so looking forward to opening and the week that follows.
Petros will have a great time with his Setter UP north and his dog will do famously with you up there Z !
Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question
Have a couple of new duck calls for this season ,seem to be a bit better than the previous. And a dozen Parry decoys that hope fully will bring a few more birds into range .Went a little over board with the new 3D camo gear but might pay off too.
Gun control means using both hands
Like Toby, I hope to improve my video footage this year. I usually get about 2 hours of unedited footage, and I am learning more about what not to do!!. With a little camcorder, there is plenty that can go wrong. I will try not to get another 15 mins of footage of my feet, while talking crap with my son. The video gets dumped when a mob comes around, but I think I will do more video than shooting this year - well I have good intentions anyway.
Everyone is entitled to their own stupid opinion
My aim is to better last years duck tally, which in round numbers was a very round number. The same could be said for my goose tally. So basically my aim is to get out more and shoot something.
There are only three types of people in this world. Those that can count, and those that can't!
And a goose or two, I haven't shot a lot of geese
Get a couple of dog's going on the retrieving and shoot a few six for's.
less than a sako 85 with mk4 scope or maybe the same I left a few things out. I was going to spend 15-18k on a 4wd but decided to spend 5k on a Subaru and go hard on hunting kit for duck and goose shooting, reloading and later optics and a LR Rig.
Im pretty safe theres no way my wife will read this "nerdy hunting forum" as she calls it.
