If you get a chance I can bring the setup I got from you and we could go for a shot somewhere, just picked up a trailer for it today..my Huntly lake is usually only good opening day so I’m open to options after that..all the best mate .

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Was going to talk to some of my friends about your programe Paul, maybe we can put a boat fishing for trout weekend.
"ars longa, vita brevis"
Well that was a lot of fun. Met Ingrid1 yesterday arvo and we went for a fish, jigging to be more exact. Haven't done it for some time, first fish hit on the first drop to the bottom but unfortunately didn't stick. The gear let us down a bit as it hadnt been used but we still picked up a couple of nice Maiden hens, must of lost at least another 4. Right on change of light a change of plan was called and we went Harling. Had a couple of more hits but no hook ups, and thn finally we got another one. All of the fish were around that 1 to 1.5 kg so resonable eaters. Any way a great afternoon with a very nice and interesting guy. What was really good was we both have similar backgrounds and had very similar war stories. We will be doing it again, just have to work out my comfort thing as I was not good at all last night had to much fun and over did it I think. Mind you I would do it again tomorrow. Thank you for your bloody good company @Ingrid1.

I agree it was a great meeting Bos. Thanks for the invitation and your company. I think you need to amend your posting a tad and include the bit when I cried in the bilges as you reeled in another. Oh...while you are about it, include the incident of my hooking into that big one; the line peeler that swung the boat round.
Seriously though, it was a most pleasant time and I again thank you for your hospitality.
Not too many fish don’t know Bos by first name basis on that lake! Awesome to hear you got out @Gapped axe
