    Canada goose is such a fine eating bird...Im so glad they are now a pest...we can harvest their beautiful selves whenever and eat like kings and princesses!!

    yes a good feed of canada can defintely make a man stand proud!!R93,rushy and co might also say a good feed of roar venison might stir a blokes blood too!!

    now im as happy as a pig in a swede paddock for F&G just told me ive drawn the prime Maimai in their reserve on lake ellesmere.Yeeeeessssssss. now remind me how you seduce em mallards geese parries&swans.Ive had two cheeky buggers at work say "wheres my duck ?"today.optimists all ,if only they knew my real abilities.

    Woohooo! Just got a text from my sister-in-law. Over 100 geese landing daily. Roll on tomorrow.

    well gents lifes interesting .had a call to say my old site at the lake was infested with canadas &ducks ,then out on april fools doing some recces on promising virgin turf and f...kme rigid ,call me nigel ,found one of the spots had a feral sow &piglets in residence
    She hadnt pegged it so"escorted" off site,but this is gonna make this season very bloody interesting in more ways than one.o yeah as the escorting got underway ,about 200 odd ducks got airborne 3-400m away.its chocka with canadas too.

    Didn't even get the shotgun out in the end, too many jobs needed doing around the farm. Could hear a few geese about and they were up one end of the farm too.

    Left them with the Rem 870 and three boxes of ammo.

    'tis just a wicked rumour, honest. Just finished getting most of the mud off and out of the truck. What a job! Have come to the conclusion nearly 3T of truck and that mud ain't a good mix as even the muds turn into slicks pretty quick.
